For Serena and Gabe’s multi-event South Asian celebration at Nizuc, the creative direction explored the harmony between vibrant cultural heritage and sharp architectural restraint. The main ceremony was conceived as a pristine sculptural intervention, featuring an elevated circular altar that anchored a flawless geometric amphitheater of wishbone seating against the mangrove horizon. Reinterpreting traditional opulence through an intentional, contemporary lens, every custom graphic layer and structural alignment honored the scale of the landscape without disrupting its inherent minimalist silence. ​

 

The design narrative seamlessly evolved into an infinite, dual-line reception pavilion staged directly over the resort’s wooden decks and reflective canals. Beneath a fluid, undulating canopy of ivory textiles that mirrored the waterfront, tablescapes were styled with monochromatic white linens, exposed glassware, and architectural botanical groupings in pure green tones. As night fell, precision micro-lighting transformed the expansive property into a soulful, glowing retreat, balancing the immense energy of a multi-day festival with an end-to-end execution of sophisticated luxury and permanent spatial design.
