For Stephanie & Ateet’s wedding at Andaz Mayakoba a celebration woven with South Asian traditions and deeply personal touches one of the most quietly powerful moments was a wall of envelopes, each holding a handwritten note from the couple to their guests.

A reception designed to disappear into its surroundings and in doing so, become unforgettable.

At @editionrivieramayakanai , we built Vicky & Kevin’s celebration as a natural extension of the architecture and landscape. A tented setup facing the ocean, where soft greens, whites, warm woods, and golden accents don’t compete they converse.

This is the standard we hold for every luxury wedding reception we design in the Riviera Maya: every element earns its place, the atmosphere feels inevitable, and guests never have to think about the space they simply exist within it.

The welcome party is where a destination wedding weekend truly begins not with florals or logistics, but with the moment guests arrive and realize they’re somewhere different.

Ali & Dan’s first evening at Impression Isla Mujeres was designed exactly for that. A relaxed setting by the ocean where the atmosphere did the work, and connection happened on its own.

At @bash.house , we consider this the most underrated moment of the entire wedding experience. And the one that sets everything else in motion.

Lauren & Harjaap envisioned a Hindu ceremony filled with color, symbolism, and tradition at @grandvelasmaya and we loved bringing that vision to life.

Every element carried meaning. From the structure of the mandap to the selection of florals, the textures, and the vibrant tones surrounding the space, everything was thoughtfully curated to honor their heritage while creating a cohesive and visually powerful setting.

As part of the design and production, our role was to translate their story into an environment that supported every ritual, every glance, and every moment shared with their families.

Serena & Gabe’s entrance at @nizucresort set the tone for the entire night.

Applause rising as they stepped in, laughter all around, toasts beginning everyone fully in it from the first second. Not just the start of a reception, but a moment that pulled every guest into the celebration.

They walked in and everything shifted. You could feel it.
Being part of what shaped this atmosphere made it even more meaningful to witness.
